You can still put up whatever photo you like BUT put something like this in your greeting: "All emails without the special phrase from my profile will automatically be deleted." I have always had very sexy profile pics up but I still expect men to read the profile and guess what many of them do just that. I think my high expectations pay off in the quality emails I recieve from sexy intelligent men. Even if their main profile pic is a cock shot I will make the effort to read their profile. As you are well aware men have more then just one brain. They put up these cock shots in lieu of posting what interests the fairer sex. They assume that ALL women are interested in all that is taboo. Just because this is A F F they post the cockadoodledoo! Don't rule them out G. There is way more behind the man and his cock... and you will figure that out PDQ after one email. You are way too smart and intuitive to put up with any BS. I would agree w/the others, try posting a pic with glasses, book, and booty... see what that reels in. I don't understand why intelligence and sexiness have to be mutually exclusive. It's not YOUR problem if the men can't ogle your picture and then read your profile and see that you are a woman of substance. It's not a problem in the way you're advertising yourself, it's a problem of men not looking past the surface. Like you said, maybe you should look at the cock picture and THEN read the profile. I think you're right in spotting a disconnect. I wouldn't join a contest personally that asked my profile to be any different from what it is but that's just me. Now if they had a writing contest...but I can't see fishnets involved there either.
