Christmas is good, but Valentine's day is better. That is the day I got my son. Best gift ever, and one that keeps on giving. And he sure is a love bug. I am the only Me you get.

In some ways, kids are just like cats!!! They might like the new toy but really enjoy the "thing" that's been sitting around the house for ages or the "thing" that held the actual desired item bought. Just attach a piece of yarn to a twig, dangle it over their heads while they watch TV, and watch them swing at it...just like a cat!!! Happy holidays to you GR...it's all good...

I hope you get your gumption back soon. Years back I bought home a huge box home from work. She made a huge doll house out it. Even she could fit in it. This is not meant to offend any one in any way.

My son opened up his first present...hot wheels...and could care less about the rest of the stuff under the tree. His sisters were more worried about him opening all his presents than he was. Granted he's 3, but it does make you wonder sometimes...

My kids made out too  And they have so much money/gift cards to spend I am probably going to be running them all over God's green earth to spend it in the next couple weeks.I am in the Homeland, missing Andrew, having ridiculously bad cramps (thanks Mother Nature) and just feeling pretty blah about the whole thing. Hoping that going to see a movie with my girlfriend C later today will cheer me up. The kids are going to their dad's side of the family later for Christmas dinner. ***
