Future Happiness

I can't help thinking
Of a future with him.
Of activities I would love
To do and participate in.

I can't help thinking
How the affection
Would still be there
Months and even
Years hence.

I can't help thinking
How I could wake up
Everyday to morning sex!
Oh yes!
For this he has a penchant!
Can we say it would
Be a dream come true?
I have often thought
Of it as ideal!

And then sex in the evening
Right before bed.
Or before dinner instead.
Dinner can wait
If we have this other
Hunger to sate.

I know this is more than
Likely a pipe dream.
Cue the sad face.
How could I have
Happiness for any
Length of time?
For heretofore
It has been absent.
And has only made
A brief appearance.
