College Life
College Life I tried to go to college right out of High School...took one quarter, if that...it just wasn't for me at the time. I was yearning to be an adult...have that full time job and my own apartment. My twin sister and I moved into a little place in a not-so-safe neighborhood...she was mugged so we moved out within a few months, moved back home. Met my now ex, dated, bought a house together, moved in, got married, had ...etc etc etc But college was never in the list of goals for me. Not until a couple of years ago. Late bloomer, in more ways than one! lol Here are some pics from the campus....not sure what the flowers are called and only know the japanese maple tree...but the campus is beautiful, I love just walking through it, trying to figure out where everything is. Great pics. Beautiful flowers and trees. I love how the maple is changing. That will happen here soon. I dropped out of high school in 10th grade. Three years later I started three years of college. Not worth a whole lot, but I might have learned something. .. I've got the debt to prove it! lol .. There are some great trees on college campuses. Read my diary Journal of a Taxi Driver for taxi stories and pictures of flowers and trees.

These are wonderful photos, LLD. It looks like a beautiful campus. I revisited the campus in Ann Arbor this spring. I didn't go to school there but I did live there during the height of its most radical period, the very early seventies. That visit brought back so many wonderful memories. It's a historic district so it looks remarkably the same as I remember it. Oh, to be young again! Become a member now and get a free tote bag.

" Aren't palm trees 'real' trees? " No. They're nothing but sticks with hair on them. .Hardly any shade at all. .There's no comparison with REAL trees.
